Parwez Khan

Born into a traditional family of landlords in Mankedi village, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Parvez Khan's life took an unexpected turn with the construction of the Bargi Dam in 1981. His family went from being landlords to displaced individuals. After completing his degree in journalism and mass communication, Parvez chose to focus on rural journalism. He used the media as a platform to shed light on issues related to water, forests, land, and displacement in rural areas. He also pursued a master's degree in rural development.

Parvez often observed that rural women were engaged in labour-intensive tasks like collecting wood, tending to cattle, and agricultural work. This inspired him to envision a way to help them gain skills that would enable them to lead financially independent lives with dignity. Teaming up with Neha Sharma, a friend passionate about dress designing and women's issues, he established a training centre.
Neha Sharma

Neha Sharma, a dedicated social worker, embarked on this journey as a founding member of SPS. Over time, she assumed the role of secretary within the organisation. While pursuing her fashion design degree, she struck a friendship with the organisation's founder, Parvez Khan. Their camaraderie ignited a vision to empower rural women. Together, they launched a sewing training program for women, initially starting with a humble banner in her sister's Anganwadi building.

Armed with a degree in social work, she has dedicated 14 years to various initiatives, including the Madhya Pradesh government's Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Ladli Bahna Yojana. She plays a pivotal role in facilitating online services for beneficiaries in gram panchayats through Common Service Centers. Mrs Sharma also lends her expertise as a para-legal volunteer for the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and District Legal Services Authority.
Razia Mansoori

Razia is a teacher, who has been working as a guest teacher in government schools and providing free coaching to underprivileged tribal children at home. She has been an active member of our journey for the last 10 years. Razia holds a master's degree in arts and a bachelor's degree in education. Her work is centred around inspiring women in the region to form self-help groups and engage in various activities that benefit the community.
Anil raikwar

Anil Raikwar has been associated with the organisation as a founding member for the past 12 years. He remains dedicated to the cause of social welfare and serves as a committed volunteer within the organisation, Anil currently holds the position of President.

In the community, Anil is recognised as a prominent figure with a strong social presence. With his effective coordination among dozens of village councils, he actively brings the region's issues to the forefront within the organisation and helps find solutions.
Navin Shiva

Navin Shiva, who has been part of SPS for 10 years, is a social worker, educator, speaker, trainer, and motivator who has been actively involved in the social sector for the past 15 years. At SPS, he designs better strategies for various employment-oriented programs for effective implementation.

Navin has been actively engaged in the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, for several years. He is a counsellor at the Indira Gandhi National Open University and guides students in various courses in the university's social work programme.

Navin is also involved in Madhya Pradesh’s ambitious district-level initiative, Jal Jeevan Mission, besides associating with various social bodies like Vikas Samvad Bhopal, District Child Rights Forum Bhopal, Debate Bhopal, UNICEF, National Youth Center New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development Chennai, and National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Hyderabad.
Dayal Chand Yadav

Dayal Chand Yadav is a senior journalist and political analyst who has been engaged in the field of journalism and journalism education for the past 33 years. An Associate Professor teaching journalism at a private college for 12 years, he has also held senior editorial positions in several leading newspapers. Dayal has an in-depth understanding of various issues, including politics, social service, the environment, women's empowerment, child rights, human rights, the right to education, the right to information, and development. He considers journalism as a medium of social and national service. He has been associated with the SPS as a media consultant and advisor for the past 10 years. He actively participates in the organisation's employment-oriented programmes and provides special assistance to the organisation's awareness initiatives.
Nikhilesh Dubey

Nikhilesh Dubey’s 11-year journey in the social sector began with his masters in social work. Throughout his career, he has significantly contributed to diverse areas of social development, spanning health, education, addiction prevention, livelihood, environment, and gender equality. Nikhilesh has collaborated with both national and international organisations, including Population Services International (PSI), Youth for Change (YP), Samriddhi Mahila Evam Bal Vikas Kendra (SMVK), Maan Foundation, All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP), and Kadam Sanstha. Currently, Nikhilesh Dubey serves as the District Manager at Deepak Foundation, a prominent national organisation based in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh. His journey with Sacha Prayas Sanstha began when he connected with the organisation through the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Jabalpur). He has been actively engaged with SPS for the past eight years, dedicating his efforts to women's empowerment and child rights, as well as critical matters within the organisation.
Premalata Chakravarti

Premalata, who has always nurtured a strong desire to work in the social impact field, has been an active social worker for the past five years. She is simultaneously associated with several social welfare organisations in Madhya Pradesh. Inspired by our work, Premalatha became a volunteer in the organisation and has been actively participating in various organisational projects. She also plays a pivotal role in various projects centred around women and children (Child Rights Observatory in Bhopal, the District Child Rights Forum in Jabalpur, and the Women's Education Programme). Premalata teaches at a private school and holds a bachelor’s degree in education.
Parvati Jhariya

Parvati, currently pursuing a law degree, has been passionately engaged in various social service activities for over eight years. Her strong affiliation with the Madhya Pradesh Government's Jan Abhiyan Parishad and her continuous membership with the Sacha Prayas Sanstha exemplify her commitment. Parvati has actively contributed to diverse areas of social welfare, including championing women's empowerment, advocating for child rights, conducting social audits of gram panchayats, and leading awareness initiatives in education and health. Following her graduation, Parvati pursued a bachelor’s degree in social work and remains committed to advancing her studies in social service.
Amit Das Parwar

Amit Das, a graduate proficient in computer software, has dedicated five years to the Sacha Prayas Foundation. He actively engages at the village level in Mankhedi Gram Panchayat, Jabalpur District, facilitating various government schemes (Ladli Behna Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, National Food Security Act, Prime Minister's Housing Scheme, etc.) and addressing contemporary issues. His role involves helping villagers understand and navigate these programmes, besides actively volunteering in organisation activities.
Satyendra Jhariya

Satyendra Jhariya, with a background in arts, operates a Common Service Centre from his home, offering vital assistance to rural residents. His commitment to the Sacha Prayas Foundation spans a decade, showcasing a wealth of experience and dedication to community service.
Firoz Khan

Feroz Khan is a professional in the electronics and electrical industry. For the past 12 years, he has been actively involved with SPS, serving as a founding member, social worker, and the organisation's treasurer. Feroz also comes from a displaced family and is closely associated with the issues of the region, related to water, forests, land, and displacement. During his early years, Feroz collaborated with numerous social welfare organisations in the region and is committed to contributing to the welfare of women and children in his community.
Najiya Sultana

Nazia Sultana is a professional software engineer currently working at a private company. From the very beginning, Nazia has had a passion for creating impact for the women and children in her community. With this dedication in mind, she joined SPS as a volunteer ten years ago, where she learned sewing and beauty parlour skills. Afterwards, Nazia took it upon herself to teach sewing to women in the organisation for free and also provided free coaching to children from the fifth to eighth grade. Currently, Nazia is actively involved as a member of the organisation and consistently fulfils her social responsibilities.
